January 13th, 2012

Well ladies & gents, we've got some news... We are putting together a show for the end of January that will be the Subterraneans Collective's last. The date & venue are as yet tba, but keep eyes here (or facebook, or twitter...) for the details as they are available. You can look forward to a classic lineup of bands, and Dave Reed will be back on the keys for this final go 'round as well.

With the news of Abbey moving out west, it just seems like the right time to call it quits with this project & make way for some new ones. If you want to keep tabs on what we're all doing, bookmark PeopleWhoMakeThings.ca where our future and current projects will appear.

On behalf of the Subs, I want to say a HUGE thank you to all you folks who came out to the shows & sang along, waited patiently for an album & grabbed it as soon as it was finished and supported us through the near decade of our existence. Thank you for telling your friends & bringing them out to dig & dance & make us feel like we were doing something worthwhile. Also a big, big, big thanks to all the venues, festivals, promoters & bands we've had the pleasure of working with over the course; We've had a sincere blast playing for and with all of you and we hope to see you all out at some shows in the future!
Many, many, many, many, many, many thanks to every single one of you, it's been a great ride thus far, see you at the finale!

We're back online with a fresh new site! Keep eyes here for all the upcoming shows and updates!

While things have been somewhat quiet 'round about here the last little bit, there has been some happenings in other spots. Jay has been getting some side projects underway with fellow Hamiltonians, as well as plugging away at some new material alongside Jesse with their Hip-Hop project Infinity Factory. Also, with the new addition of Steve De Piante (Baudelaires, Ragged Bankers) on keys, we've been building back some momentum & putting together a few new songs, slowly but surely.

To see what all we've got going on, check out PeopleWhoMakeThings & browse around at the offerings from ourselves & our friends!
